How to put a tv on the wall
We will be teaching you in this article how to wall mount a TV
Safety first
Before starting hanging tv on the wall please make sure you have no wires or water pipes in the wall as this is going to cause severe damage to your property. You will have to asses the wall structure to use the suitable wall plugs if any.
Wall structure
Different wall structure requires different wall plugs. For example, a concrete or brick wall will require a plastic rawl wall plug. If the wall is a partition ( plasterboard wall ) you will need a special plasterboard fixing
Assessing right which fixing can be used is very important as not getting it right might hurt your pocket and can cause a health risk. You would want to avoid having the tv falling down.
Tolls
The tools required to put a TV on the wall depends on what type of wall you have.
For partition wall ( plasterboard ): You will only need a screwdriver a small drill and a spirit level to hang the tv
For a concrete or brick wall: You will need a hammer, a screwdriver, spirit level and an hammer drill.
Tv Screen wall mount bracket

This tv bracket is the most common and most used, because of the weight and because it can be fitted to many tv types.
Depending on your preferences and also on your wall structure you can choose different types of brackets when hanging a tv.

Its important to know your wall structure before buying the bracket as some TV brackets are too heavy for a plasterboard wall.
Tv bracket mount
The TV mount bracket usually comes in two parts, one for the back of the TV and the other one goes fixed to the wall. The first thing you need to do is to screw the tv mount back bracket part to the TV. Most of the brackets come with different screws size, washers and spacers to fit on a different type of Telly. Therefore, you need to choose the right screw and use the right spacer to screw the back part to the TV. Screw the screws into the tv mount and tv slowly and makes sure not to force the screw as this is going to damage the tv screen.
Be careful as failing to use the right size can damage the TV screen .
Now that the back bracket is fitted, we now have to install the other bracket part.
After you have picked the right height on the wall, mark it and proceed to measure the TV back bracket from griping point to the top of the TV. After that transfer the measurements to the wall and mark it again, that is the hight of the wall bracket. Now you will have to align the wall bracket with the mark and mark again the holes of the bracket.
Drill the holes and make sure not to go too much in the wall, you might damage the other side of the wall. A good practice for beginners is to mark the length of the wall plug on the drill bit. Now tap the wall plugs in using the hammer and using screws screw the wall bracket to the wall.
