Handyman Shower screen installation
Required tools:
-Hammer Drill http://Screwfix corded hammer drill
-Screwdriver
-Spirit level
-Silicon gun
Preparation is the key to any success
Before starting to drill the marks, make sure you have the right drill bit for the job also if the wall is tiled make sure you have the right drill bit otherwise you can crack/break the tiles. Tiles requires a special drill bit .
If the wall is made of concrete you will need a good drill (hammer drill) capable of breaking trough concrete wall.
112handyman tip: Try to use a smaller size drill bit at the beginning just in case the plaster is too weak
Start the shower screen installation by aligning the shower screen metal frame with the middle of the bathroom edge, make sure the frame is in level and mark the holes.
After marking the holes drill into the wall and make sure you are using the right wall plugs . Install the frame and screw the shower screen into frame.
Open the shower screen and ad the seal at the bottom, trim the seal excess.
Use the silicon gun to seal the frame inside the bathtub. Enjoy your new shower screen
