Laminate flooring installed by our handyman in London.
For this project you need a jigsaw, measure tape, nail gun, pencil, pull bar, spacers, hand saw and multi-angle mitre saw.
Check how you would like to run the boards, perpendicular or parallel to the walls of the room, leave 1 cm gap between the wall and end of your board, this will allow the floor to freely expand.
A good idea is to run the boards perpendicular with the floor joists.
Before starting please consider if you want to hide the cut edge of the floorboard under the skirting board or cover with scotia beading.
